Who We Are
The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) is one of
a national network of 80 centers that provide optimal settings for medical
investigators to conduct safe, controlled, state-of-the-art, inpatient and
outpatient studies of humans. GCRC staff includes nurses, dietitians, biostatisticians,
skilled laboratory technicians, administrative personnel, research subjects
advocates, an ultrasound technician, and information systems personnel, all of whom help investigators
by facilitating the day-to-day research process and assisting the research
patients in a supportive and efficient environment.
