About the GCRC Core Laboratory
 The GCRC Core Laboratory provides comprehensive and sophisticated analytical testing to enhance and facilitate resarch at the GCRC. They perform many services unavailable through the hospital laboratory, and services that are not conveniently available elsewhere.
The laboratory is fully equipped and routinely measures various peptides and hormones by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), radioimmunoassay (RIA), enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA), and enzymatic colorimetry, real time PCR (RT-PCR), and point-of-care testing (POCT).
