About the GCRC Program Director
 Dr. Robert Eckel is the Program Director of the GCRC, as well as a Charles A. Boettcher Endowed Chair in Atherosclerosis, Professor of Medicine, Professor of Physiology, and Professor of Biophysics at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. Dr. Eckel is currently the Chairman of the Nutrition, Physical Activity and Metabolism Council of the American Heart Association, past President of the North American Society for Obesity Research, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Patient Oriented Research. |
