The Research Subject Advocates (RSAs) foster the safe and ethical conduct of human subjects research on the GCRC. We work closely with GCRC investigators in study design, approval, and oversight. However, we also maintain an appropriate level of independence in order to properly monitor and ensure the safety of research participants.

GCRC research subjects and study investigators are encouraged to contact us with concerns about research ethics and safety.

Our offices are located in the GCRC Administrative Suite on the 8th Floor (West) of the University of Colorado Hospital. Hours of operation are 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. However, we are available by pager at any time (please visit the contact page for more information).
